For context: In 2018, Pete Davidson discussed Kanye's mental health on Weekend Update after Kanye appeared on SNL and controversially started discussing Donald Trump while wearing a MAGA hat.

One excerpt of the update has recently gone viral again since Pete began dating Kim Kardashian. In it, Pete jokes, "Kanye, I know you're like, 'Yo, this is the real me, I'm off the meds.' Take 'em! There's no shame in the medicine game, I'm on 'em! It's great! Take them, there's nothing wrong with taking them."

Pete has been open about being diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.

"Being mentally ill is not an excuse to act like a jackass," he continued. "I'm quoting my therapist, my mom, and my mailman. Sorry, Carl. Seriously, one time I stopped taking my meds and I bit my mom. It's all good, I bought her a house." Pete then puts on a hat that says "Make Kanye 2006 again."

Kanye has recently called out Pete on his Instagram many times, calling him “dickhead,” “garbage,” and “trash" in since-deleted posts. His posts about Pete and Kim Kardashian have led him to be accused of harassment, as a leaked message allegedly showed that Kim was concerned about Pete's safety.

Things briefly looked like they were looking up as Kanye followed Pete's brand-new Instagram account. However, he returned to Instagram to post a still of Pete's SNL appearance, writing, "HI SKETE YOU GOT ANYMORE MENTAL HEALTH JOKES FOR ME?"

Kanye then followed up in another post, "This boy thought he could get away with performing this sketch for the team that wrote this for him. This is not harassment, this is payback."

Personally, I'm not sure if Kanye's assertion that his behavior isn't harassment will quell the growing criticism leveled against him.

In the words of writer Stephen A. Crockett Jr., "At some point, men must learn to handle heartbreak without threats of violence and incessantly aggravating an ex on social media. It isn’t just manipulative, intimidating, and scary to women. It’s a matter of life or death."
