Lee and Mo'Nique publicly made up during the standup comic's set for her show Mo’Nique and Friends: April Fools Day with The Queen of Comedy.

It was held at St. George Theatre in Staten Island and Daniels surprised the audience when he stepped on stage and hugged the talent.

The director also said during the set, 'Y’all, and she was my best friend — my best friend. Y’all think that Precious was just … That was God working, through both of us.

'And we’re gonna f*****g do it again!' he exclaimed in reference to their new Netflix plans.

Following an auction at the top of the year, Netflix obtained Demon House, an exorcism film package.

It was originally supposed to star Octavia Spencer, but the actress had a scheduling conflict, prompting Daniels to hire Mo'Nique.

Mo'Nique and Lee last worked together on the critically-acclaimed 2009 movie Precious, which earned the performer an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress.

The movie star — full name Monique Angela Hicks — later said she was blackballed from Hollywood for refusing to do awards season press for the project unless she received additional pay.

The award-winning actress also mentioned Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry when discussing the blackballing disagreement.

The director had most recently responded in 2018 when he told TMZ, 'I respect her [as an] actor because she gave me her soul, but I gave her my soul.

'And for that she was given the Golden Globe and the Academy Award … and it breaks my heart that she feels that we blackballed her.'

He emphasized, 'No one blackballed her. Mo’Nique blackballed her. And for her to continue to speak about Oprah and myself and Tyler is disrespectful.'

But the two have put the past behind them as they prepare to work on their new project, about a family in Indiana whose children have been overcome by demons.

Hicks will portray a social worker who assists the family through multiple exorcisms.

The film will also feature Glenn Close, Andra Day, Rob Morgan (Don't Look Up), Caleb McLaughlin (Stranger Things), and Aunjanue Ellis (King Richard).

Production on the movie will begin this June.

Daniels took to his Instagram Stories on Friday to share a meme in reference to the upcoming feature.

It said, 'Glenn Close. Aunjanue Ellis. Andra Day. Caleb McLaughlin. In ONE film?! Baby, Lee Daniels hit the JACKPOT!'
